Autism Society of America Annual Conference
I presented on July 24th at the Autism Society of America national conference in St. Charles, Illinois. I had the great opportunity to work again with Ann Palmer who is an author, professional, and parent with expertise in preparing someone with ASD for higher education.
We had a nice turnout of parents and professionals who came to
learn from Ann about the parent perspective and then from me about coaching
techniques that are helpful in the process of preparing for and attending
college.

On April 27th, Laurie was a special guest at a Transition Discussion for parents interested in sending their child on the spectrum to college.
